The GCAT 400 is the mobile member of the GCAT family of products. The GCAT 400 utilizes CIT technology, employs shock mounts and is placed in a reinforced ruggedized aluminum cube. The ruggedized instrument weighs approximately 75 lbs. The GCAT 400 can be mounted and operated in moving vehicles, from unmanned aerial vehicles to Hummers, for rapid on-site detection, quantification, identification and confirmation of explosives, chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals.
